Recent Happenings

My husband is so talented!  I know that might be inappropriate for me to say since I am married to him but I think he deserves to be recognized for all of his wonderful qualities and so I want to take a minute to say why he is my favorite person in the whole world.

First of all, he is a great husband.  He always puts me first and cares about how I feel, what I think, and tries to do what is best for me.  He thinks I am beautiful and he is always my biggest supporter.  He understands me and sees all of my best qualities, even when I don't.  He writes the best letters and likes to surprise me with flowers.

He works so hard for our family.  Even though school is not a job per see, it is part of the career he has chosen and he works hard to make the most of the investment we have made in coming to law school.  He also works hard at his actual job, a part-time position he has had since last semester.  It is difficult to balance all of the demands of school by itself, but being employed at the same time takes a special kind of person to handle it all successfully.

Last week he was honored to find out that the note he wrote for a law journal is being published.  Yesterday he presented the note to the other members of the journal and the professors who are also being published.  He did a fantastic job!  I was terrified but he presented with such confidence and his arguments were well received.  I was so proud!!!

One of the most amazing things about Stefan is that he is the most consistent person I have ever met.  Some people are content to live with contradictions in their lives--in what they think and in their behavior--simply because it is easier not to think things through completely.  That is certainly my tendency.  Not Stefan.  I have so much respect for him because of his desire to always do the right thing, even when it isn't popular.  And you know what?  God always blesses him for that.
